The Covid-19 regulations of the federal states and the SARS CoV-2 occupational health and safety rule stipulate that hygiene concepts must be drawn up for physical events.
However, the regulations for Corona-compliant events change almost daily. In reality, it is often not easy for event organisers to keep track of them all. A tip in advance: It is advisable to always have a plan B for hybrid or online events in mind for live events.
The most important thing in advance: Always check your plans on a daily basis and contact the local authorities, because in Germany restrictions and regulations are a matter for the federal states.
In the meantime, smaller events, conferences and congresses are allowed to take place again and trade fairs are to follow. This pleases the event industry and especially the organisers themselves, but in order for this re-launch of events to succeed, COVID-19-compliant safety and hygiene concepts are essential. These enable all participants to plan and organise events safely and cleanly under Corona conditions.
Roughly, the development of hygiene concepts can be divided into the following sub-areas:
- The guarantee of the minimum distance at all times at the event.
- The obligation to cover the mouth and nose
- The information of the participants and their participation
- Escalation management and division of tasks.
