This illustrates the importance of anchoring sustainability in companies. Above all, it is also important to meet the increasing consumer demand for sustainable products and services. But if you only want to meet customer demand, you quickly reach the issue of “greenwashing”. In this case, the actual goals of making a service or product more sustainable are watered down and merely used as an excuse to generate sales.
